When you see a tweet from a fabulous photography duo that reads ‘Do you believe in ghosts?' well you've just got to investigate haven't you?!

Thank goodness I did as I discovered this hauntingly beautiful post-wedding shoot by Michael & Marcie of Maler Photography.

Michal & Marcie share the inspiration behind this unique shoot which took place in the historic {and supposedly haunted} Sterling Opera House, Conneticut, USA.

It’s amazing and inspiring to think that legends such as Harry Houdini, Amelia Earhart, and Lionel Barrymore have performed/spoken here. Opened on April 2nd, 1889, the theater was in use until 1945. Two lower levels served as a City Hall and Police Station until 1965.

For us, the Sterling Opera House was the ultimate location to house a one-of-a-kind session where we could have some fun, and also showcase that the gown lives on after the wedding day. Working together with Jennifer Dougan Photography we came up with some ideas that play off the building’s history, character, and reputation. Our gorgeous couple Mindy and Anthony completely rocked and we all had a blast working on it.

Check out these stunning photos…

What an amazing location!

I adore all the classic black, mocha & white details from Mindy's gorgeous feathered headpiece and bouquet to Anthony's boutonniere. The couple look so elegant {Mindy did her own make up perfectly!} and I love how they really got into the spirit of the shoot. {Sorry!}

And come back later today for the absolutely INCREDIBLE short film Michael & Marcie created for this shoot…trust me, you won't want to miss it!

So…do you believe in ghosts?
