We love engagement shoots.
Like really love them.
It's so wonderful to see a couple all love-up in a relaxed and casual setting.
A photographer can take the time to spend the day with the couple, getting the pictures just right – which isn't quite possible when you've got 200 guests quaffing Champagne and waiting to share your wedding day with you.
So when Tim and Rebecca's engagement shoot didn't work out, they went back for seconds and had a gorgeous photoshoot with Hunter Ryan Photo on the day of their second anniversary.
And we bet they're thrilled they did.
Their sweet shoot took place on a North Carolina farm, and is the perfect backdrop to capture some charming and romantic moments. Making out in the barn, frolicking in the fields, and taking a stroll down a countryside lane.
This beautiful pair look so in love, and Tiffany from Hunter Ryan Photo says they were a joy to shoot with.
We were so thrilled to do Tim & Rebecca's two year anniversary pictures on a beautiful private farm in Waxhaw, NC.
They had very lackluster pictures taken for their engagement two years ago and have been disappointed that they never had beautiful natural looking photographs together.
When they heard we were coming to town we set the shoot up for their actual two year anniversary date!
We absolutely adored getting to know these two more during the shoot – they have such a zest for life and one another and great original style too.
The natural barn setting and surrounding land was the perfect backdrop for their easygoing love…

Like our cute snowy engagement shoot last week, this is such a great example of why casual shoots are such a lovely investment, whether you're marking an engagement, an anniversary, or simply just another day in love.
