I've been seeing feathers everywhere for the last few months. Touch of Black Swan fever perhaps? I've seen feathered wedding dresses, shoes, veils and inspiration shoots but I'd yet to see a real bride wear them.

So I was thrilled when Diana of Diana Rush Photography sent over this unique trash the dress shoot with real bride, Larissa rocking a feathered wedding dress!

Here's what Diana had to say about the shoot:

Larissa's original wedding gown was quite traditional, so when it came time to do her bridal session, she wanted something a little different & a very natural look. We ended up finding a simple Jessica McClintock gown & wanted to personalize it with something that Larissa loves… FEATHERS! The dress came out perfect & Larissa was just amazing as she walked barefoot through the wilderness & eventually wound up in a nearby stream!

I hope you love this shoot as much as I loved capturing it!

I'm not usually a fan of feathers in bouquets but this delicate, whispy bouquet with lace wrap and tiny pink bow stole my heart!

Larissa looks stunning in her silk dress doesn't she? The feathers are such a soft, gentle embellishment. She looks like a majestic swan princess standing in the lake like that. {Yes, I did just say ‘swan princess' ~ I have a vivd imagination!}

Thanks so much to Diana Rush for sharing these images today, visit her website and blog to see more of her gorgeous photography.
