Normally if we share a styled shoot, it was inspired by a certain theme or concept. Less often, it's triggered by a colour or a movie, and sometimes it's even sparked by something as singular as a dress, a bouquet or some stationery.
But today's bridal shoot by Shannon Morse Photography was inspired by… a house. (But what a special house is it!)
The atmospheric setting of Lyford House in Northern California to be exact.
With gorgeous dresses, blooms, paper goods and a wedding cake to swoon over, this shoot is laden with chic ideas (the hair inspiration is so pretty!).
The result, is an ethereal, romantic and organic bridal inspiration with neutral hues, splashes of colour and of course a very unique, (it looks like something out of a movie!) and evocative coastal backdrop.

The historic Lyford House was overflowing with so much character and romance that it instantly had our team dreaming up a inspiration shoot.
The setting really is spectacular, a Victorian mansion located right on the bay in Tiburon, CA. Across the bay (when the fog isn’t too thick) you can see beautiful views of San Francisco. For any bride wanting a venue sure to impress with vintage touches, Lyford House is the place.
Things effortlessly came together in such a beautiful setting. Angela worked her magic on our bride’s updo, Weddington Way provided all the lovely gowns, and the florals from Bee, Leaves N’ Love just took my breath away.
Glass Slipper Gourmet created a work of art in her stunning cake, with gorgeous water color flowers hand painted and delicate embossing, topped with sugar wafer flowers, it was a true masterpiece.
The invitation suite by JP Stationery was flawless and really helped set the tone for the elegance and style Lyford House brings.
All of these elements really created a wedding look right out of a story book.
So pretty. I always love Bay Area weddings and shoots, it's such a cool spot with so many amazing wedding vendors!
