Today’s styled shoot features jewel-toned details and a fabulous floral arch, perfect for any winter brides finalizing their wedding decor.

But the circle arch isn’t the only unique element to this woodsy wedding shoot. The dark, moody jewel tones are complemented by the tall black and gold wedding cake. And the bride carries an inspiring bouquet, a mini birdcage filled with roses hangs from our muse’s wrists as she poses in the forest.

A visit to the Sacred Hills of Edward Medard Park in Plant City, Florida had Tampa Bay Wedding Planner, YJean Ligon of Amazingly Creative Events dreaming about an enchanted, gorgeously moody romantic al fresco wedding celebration that had an air of mystery.

Enclosed by a wall of trees and overgrown greenery, the setting’s untamed beauty was the perfect backdrop for this dark and moody fairytale.

The décor in every area was filled with lush layers of mixed greens accompanied by pops of color from the flowers. The velvet table linen added a romantic quality to the look, with organic branches and flowers lacing the guest table. Candles magnified the romance of this already spectacular look. While stationery subtly amplified the elegance.

The bride dazzled in a simply elegant ivory understated gown accented with smokes rhinestones, a feathered fascinator, and diamond and black jewelry that was dreamy. Her birdcage wedding bouquet is anything but ordinary! But the groom was not to be ignored, sporting a classic black tuxedo with a black bowtie and a boutonniere that captured the colors of the entire event.

The cake provided the romantic drama that flowed with the theme; black tiers, an unexpected purple tier, textures, ombre drip icing and pops of red.

For a moment of serenity, the couple retreated to a lounge that encompassed the Bride’s love for all things vintage while including the Groom’s passion for a modern flair.
