Has anyone else been enjoying sipping coffee and pouring over the incredible photos and stylings from NYBFW? What a whirlwind! We’ve been sharing our favorites over the last week (catch more from Bridal Fashion Week here!) and we can’t resist adding Watters’ Spring 2019 Collection to our “best of” list. They are truly the visionaries of dreamy, imaginative, whimsical wedding gowns!

Why do we love Watters? Not only do their runway shows feel like a cool loft party with your closest friends, but season after season they maintain their playful energy with imaginative designs. All three labels stunned us with plenty of floral motifs and contrasting nude tones, clean lines on modern silhouettes, and pearl and beading details. Claire was there to catch all the magic first hand, but I'm feeling spoiled I get to share all the details, too!

The Watters and Wtoo lines made pretty and sophisticated statements. With beautiful nods to traditional bridal style, we saw everything from ballgowns with sheer corset tops, to sleek and minimal looks. Wtoo is their more classic-inspired line, but this season we saw even more modern updates, like cut-outs, V-necklines, and delicate beading.

Their Watters label delivered plenty of gentle contrast, with laces over nude-toned linings creating layers and definition (inspired and paying homage to the sandy dunes of the Oregon coast!) There were even a few standout crepe pieces that had a sexier, more sophisticated look.

And always a crowd favorite, their Willowby line delivered boho gowns that were seriously sublime. Willowby has made a name for themselves in recent seasons for being the free-spirited sister to their Watters and Wtoo lines. Opening the show to “She’s a Rainbow” by the Stones, no less, we saw iridescent fabrics and color!

In Watters' past, we’ve been lost in the stars with one of their celestial-inspired gowns and dreaming of beachier places with our editor Claire’s own wedding dress shopping. This season’s runway was still fanciful, stylish, and fun (and one of my personal favorites!) Just like a soft summer’s eve, highlights included this bell-sleeved beauty and all of our lacey wedding dress dreams come to life.

We can’t ignore the styling either – with serious floral crown inspo that I’m saving on my own personal Pinterest board! Pastel rainbow baby's breath crowns adorned with flowy ribbons down the back and vintage-inspired hats accompanied this softly 70’s inspired attitude.

All three of these collections emphasized their desire to be worn by the creative bride who appreciates uniqueness and is a little bit starry-eyed. Whether more minimal, classic, or unfettered by traditions, Watters’ array of imaginative gowns was one of our Fashion Week favorites.
