Who doesn’t want to get married at a pink castle?

For Kristyna and Jakub, planning their opulent & traditional wedding in South Bohemia was a breeze (even Covid aside) thanks to the talent & work of their planner Lenka Borovka. Marrying in the stunning traditional St. Anna Chapel then celebrating their reception at the pink-hued Chateau Mitrowicz, the entire day was rich & sumptuous.

Such a stunning scene was only made more beautiful by the artful, fine art photos captured by Tomas Dolejsi. We love his creamy, dreamy style with occasional double exposures mixed into the gallery.

Our Love Story

We met in one romantic bar in Southern Bohemia. Because our relationship was evolving slowly, there was no exact date to celebrate each year. And now, we finally have our anniversary to celebrate – the date of our wedding.

The Planning

We had our wedding planned by the amazing planner Lenka. This process took about 10 months. Although we were not sure about future COVID restrictions, in the end, we were able to celebrate our wedding with all invited relatives and friends.

It was such a beautiful day – exactly as we dreamed it. This all happened thanks to all the professional vendors, our family members and friends.

Favorite Moments

The most emotional moment was definitely the ceremony itself. It took place in St. Anna Chapel and it was held by amazing priest Zbigniew Czendlik. There were moments full of laughing as well as tears of joy. We will never forget his wise words. And, I remember how I cried when my father proposed a toast.

The Photography

We had a recommendation from Lenka, our planner. We met Tomas, a photographer, before our wedding and we were sure he was a good fit.

Advice to Other Couples

First of all, find a good wedding planner who you feel is a very good fit for you. Not only business-wise but also personally. Then you can be sure to expect a wedding day which you will really enjoy. The venue is also very important.
