Lots of lovely Australian readers have been stopping by the blog lately *upside down waves to you all* so I thought it'd be great for you and my UK readers to find out a little bit more about Carly and her beautiful work.

What's your photography style?
I like to describe my style as sophisticated and spontaneous, with lots of creative flair and a hint of vintage style. I adore the beauty of natural light, and photographing the romance and sweet little moments that happen between a couple on their wedding day.
I work in a very candid way, only posing people if necessary. I prefer to document each moment as it really happens, to capture the real beauty of a bride and groom in love.
Where are you based?
Perth, Australia is my home, but I love to travel so I have made it my mission to photograph weddings all around the world.
Why do you love wedding photography?
Every wedding is a completely unique experience, so I really enjoy being able to document each one in a different way to really make it special. It’s about finding the couple’s personality and using it to create a really beautiful collection of memories.
What's your favourite moment to capture?
To witness a quiet moment between a Bride and Groom on their wedding day is priceless. When I capture little look, a giggle or a private kiss, it makes me feel so honored to preserve that memory for them.

I love to speak to a couple after they have seen their photos for the first time, and the greatest compliment to me as a photographer is to have them literally speechless.
Tell us more about your UK travel plans…
I have traveled to the UK quite a few times and I absolutely adore the culture, lovely people and breathtaking landscape.
My plan is to work in the 2013 and 2014 wedding seasons, and I’m really excited about having the opportunity to attend and photograph some amazing weddings right across England, Wales and Scotland without the addition of travel fees!
