My interest was piqued by the pretty pink and violet campaign images.

So I wandered into Jo Malone to investigate.

Then I fell hopelessly in love with the British perfumer's latest heady scent – Peony and Blush Suede.

(The name alone is a treat for the senses!)

Peony and Blush Suede is unashamedly floral and feminine without being overpowering and it's oh so perfect for brides!

(If you liked my last fragrance pick for wedding perfume, I have a feeling you'll love this too.)

So you may be wondering what blush suede actually smells like…

I own a beautiful pair of blush suede almond toe heels and can confirm that they do, in fact, look good enough to eat, or sniff (though not after an hour's commute on the tube).

And who doesn't love the delicate, intoxicating smell of fresh peonies?!

Here's the official description of my new favourite scent:

The essence of charm. Peonies in voluptuous bloom, exquisitely fragile. Flirtatious with the juicy bite of red apple and the opulence of jasmine, rose and gillyflower. Mingling with the sensuality of soft, blush suede. Luxurious and seductive.

Get thee down to your nearest Jo Malone and smell for yourself.
