After all, at the end of the night, guests aren't worried about party favours and centrepieces, it's all about them, the DJ and the dancefloor.
But the soundtrack to your day starts long before the tequila shots, the toasts, and even the vows.

From the moment you gather with your friends, start steaming the dresses, apply your primer, and add the first roller to your tresses, it's official, your wedding day has arrived!
And like getting ready for any party worth its salt, your pre-wedding prep deserves an awesome playlist.

So from the hairbrush microphone moments, to those times when emotions run a little high, we've come up with the perfect list of tunes.
Think, Going to Chapel by The Dixie Cups and Marry Me by Bruno Mars, alongside Beyonce's Single Ladies, and Jamie Foxx's Gold Digger.
Fun songs, love songs, rousing songs and utterly apt songs for the day that's in it.

At over two and a half hours, it should get you and your party through at least a couple of bottles of Buck's Fizz (and a couple of cans of hairspray.)
But it's a work in progress, so let us know what you think, and what songs you'd play while you're getting ready for your wedding, and we can add the best ones to the list.
It's a little on the girly side too, (ahem, Destiny's Child, Independent Women) so grooms, let us know what songs you'd like to hear while you and the guys are suiting up.

So you can download it for the car journey, or turn up the speakers and use it to wake up your bridesmaids. Or if you're a bridesmaid, save it for your friend, as a nice surprise for the morning of her wedding.
I (Claire, BM Editor) made something similar for the car journey to my best friend's wedding, and we still play it before a night out (without The Dixie Cups, of course!)
