Today's Wedding Geekery is all about searching for the perfect dress.
And let's face it, the majority of brides are obsessed with ‘the dress'.
I certainly was! I LOVED those first few months of planning, pouring over wedding dresses on wedding blogs and wedding websites.
However, when I was away from the laptop the obsession continued. So I saved hundreds of wedding dress photos to my IPhone to look at when I was on the train, waiting for the kids to finish break time, in my lunch hour etc.
Had I known about The Knot's Wedding Dress Look Book IPhone App I would've been in wedding dress heaven!
I've thoroughly enjoyed testing it out…for research purposes of course. {Is a year too soon to renew your vows?!}
It's the perfect tool for searching through a wide range of gorgeous wedding dresses on the go. It sorts dresses according to criteria such as body shape, best features, wedding style etc. then you can narrow down your choices further and save your favourites for next time. It also gives you detailed info about the dress, including the fabrics and designer info and a direct link to the designer's website.
And…it's free!

I was really impressed with this app. It's so simple to use and there are a wide range of gorgeous dresses to soon over.
It is perfect for those first few heady months, looking at dresses from afar and day-dreaming about them. However, I wouldn't take all their recommendations to heart as you really have to try dresses on to see what suits your figure ~ so don't rule out that mermaid number you love just yet!
