We've been big fans of UK hairstylist, Emily Kent, for a while now.
The lady behind The Wedding Hair Company, her site is a go-to for us, when we're on the lookout for new trends and gorgeous hair inspiration for brides (her fresh flower styles are our favourites!)
So when we found out she'd launched a collection of beautiful bridal hair accessories, Feather & Coal, we just knew we had to reach out and ask her to share some tips.

How To Choose Hair Accessories For Your Wedding
Keep It Simple
Think about your overall look when it comes to accessorising, make sure there isn't too much going on.
Sometimes earrings, necklace, hair accessory and a veil is overkill… keep it simple and chic.
Take It To Trial
The hair style and chosen accessory need to work together perfectly, scale and positioning is a very important part of this.
Ideally the accessory should be purchased before the trial so that a full run through can take place, ensuring no surprises on the day!
Head Over Heels
Given that accessories are really an added extra, don't wear anything that you aren't madly in love with, let the accessory choose you!
Stick to a Style
Make sure you are clear about your style for the wedding day when it comes to accessorising. If its eclectic embrace different tones, crystals and a general mixed palette across your entire look, however if things need to match perfectly make sure they match perfectly.
If either are done correctly, you are on to a winner.

Treasure your accessories after your wedding, there is nothing better than sharing them with friends and relatives!
