Wedding hair, to me, is almost as important as the dress.

I have long brunette hair and always knew I wanted to wear it down on my big day as I very rarely wear it up.

But Hair Romance, a fabulous blog dedicated to all things hair related, has inspired me to be a bit more adventurous with my hair!

{I'm currently sporting ombre hair which is extremely daring for classic old me!}

I love it when I see Brides rocking unusual, intricate and boho hair looks so I thought I'd share my hair inspiration with you ~ may I present Hair Romance:

Here's one of my favourite styles, a softer version of the classic beehive:

The girl behind Hair Romance was very busy during the month of May ~ she created 30 hairstyles for 30 days, a plethora of twist and pin hairstyles of varying levels of difficulty. There is even an e-book with all the tutorials!

She's my hair idol!

Wedding day hair is the one area I wouldn't even consider DIYing, I suggest using these images as inspiration for your stylist or trying them out for everyday wear/other fancy occasions.

But if you are on a tight budget and will be DIYing your hair on the big day then practise, practise, practise and practise some more!

What are your hair plans for the big day?
