We’ve talked a lot about Italian weddings here on Bridal Musings. And while we’ve gushed over all of our favorite venues & destinations throughout the country, we think this might be the prettiest place to elope…

Welcome to our elopement destination dream: The Italian Alps.

High above the clouds, photographer Svetlana Cozlitina has captured the most enchanting intimate wedding scene. When we think of elopements – a bride and groom free to wander off wherever in the world they please to say “I do” – we always seem to picture someplace to shout “I LOVE YOU!” from the top of a mountain.

What makes the Italian Alps particularly attractive as a destination is a couple gains the stunning green pastoral peaks of the Alps for their backdrop while feasting on all the best Italian foods, pastries & wine.

Much like a cloud itself, our bride’s blush-colored HoneyMoon Italia wedding gown is something of a dream. Tiers of pink tulle in a high-low silhouette, this gorgeous dress is the reason we thought to include this inspiration during Bridal Fashion Month.

An Italian wedding in the clouds, in the fresh mountains and away from the heat and bustle is a dream! Incredible lightness, airiness and softness, that’s what defines this shooting. The preparation for this shoot began even before the lockdown, we wanted to embody in this shooting in the mountains that lightness, tenderness, freshness that we saw in the mood board.

When choosing a dress, this Marshmallow cloud caught my attention, and I realized that this is what I need! This airy light cloud perfectly reflected our idea.

The color palette of the shoot was made up of pink, peach, pastel. We designed the table in the mountains using plants and flowers growing in the area. The cake decorated with flowers went very well with the flowers of the bouquet.

On the day of the shoot, we enjoyed the wonderful weather, model Karina whirled in a dress, walking along the alpine meadows. Everything in her image combined delicate makeup in pink shades, curls and jewelry made of rose gold, the image of the bride was incredibly light, but at the same time bright.
