It’s no secret that a beach vacay is my favorite type of getaway. As much as I enjoy sightseeing every now and then, beach destinations are my go-to for indulging in some serious relaxation.
I’d also be lying if I said I didn’t love salty air, wind-swept hair, and sand beneath my toes.
When it came time for me and my love to plan our own honeymoon, a tropical destination was a no-brainer. After months of prepping for our big day, all we really wanted to do was soak up some rays with a couple of fruity beverages in hand.
Not to mention, beaches are always so romantic. They’re perfect for indulging in some intimate one-on-one time.
Zero distractions and no itinerary needed—what more could you ask for?

By far, packing is one of the best parts about coastal getaways. You only need a few swimsuits, breezy cover-ups, and lightweight sundresses.
And, as a confession: I also happen to love splurging on a new bikini (or two!) before hitting the beach.
